It’s been a decade-long wait for India to host this prestigious tournament, set to grace 10 venues across the nation from October 5 to November 19, 2023, culminating in an exciting final match slated for Ahmedabad.
Notably, the encounter between arch-rivals India and Pakistan is scheduled for October 14. The composition of the 15-member Indian cricket squad for the World Cup was disclosed today.
Leading the charge for Team India is the venerable Rohit Sharma. Under Sharma’s astute leadership, an infusion of young talent has been introduced into the Indian ranks.
The likes of Virat Kohli, Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, and Jasprit Bumrah had previously secured their positions within the squad. Additionally, Shubman Gill and Kuldeep Yadav have been ushered into the fold.
