The ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 has decreed a total allocation of US $10 million, with the victorious ensemble set to receive a princely sum of US $4 million, amounting to approximately Rs 33.18 lakh in the Indian currency. On the other hand, the unfortunate final contenders, the runners-up, shall be consoled with 2 million US dollars, translating to about 16.5 crore rupees.

Each participating contingent shall lay claim to this financial bounty. In the preliminary stage, all ten teams shall engage in a round-robin format, crossing paths with one another, with the top quartet in the standings progressing to the semi-final skirmishes.
Victories in the group stage shall also bestow monetary rewards upon the triumphant sides, with each conquest earning them US $40,000 (equivalent to Rs 33.17 lakh). Teams failing to secure passage to the knockout phase at the culmination of the group stage shall each be compensated with US $100,000 (Rs. 82.93 lakh).
