Sourav Ganguly gave update on Rishabh Pant’s return

Speaking to Times of India, Sourav Ganguly said, “He has done everything to be fit and that is why the NCA will clear him. Let Rishabh get the approval on March 5, only then we will talk about the backup of captaincy. One has to be careful now because he has a very long career ahead of him. We don’t want to rush them into the field. He will join the team as soon as he gets approval from NCA. We will decide on them match by match. We can not predict the future”

Sourav Ganguly has further said, “Rishabh coming back fit is a big success for us. We hope he plays the whole season because he is a very special player. We have also worked with some domestic players. Who have done well in all formats but Rishabh is the most important.”
